Aishah & I commenced our Trip II on 27 July 2010 @ 9.30 AM from Batu Pahat. The odometer read at 33744 km and the trip was from Batu Pahat towards Kuantan via Segamat.
The journey commenced at a sombre note as we dropped by at Pantai Hospital, Batu Pahat visiting Aishah's friend, Roslilawati who was in comma. Seeing her & Aishah at the ICU made me realised what friendship is all about....
Since we did not have a pre planned itinerary, we just drove "light & easy" and would stop at any destination which might be of interest to us... True to my guess, the 1st stop was at Hutan Lipur Sg. Bantang, Bekok, Johor. I said I was right because Aishah is the type of person who is "pantang nampak ada air terjun/jeram"....
We reached there at about 12.47 and spent about 40 minutes before reaching our next stop at Pusat Rekreasi Kolam Air Panas, Labis. Our final stop of the day was Kuantan - after travelling for about 339.40 km from Batu Pahat.
It was an enjoyable trip especially during our durian eating session at Buluh Kasap Segamat. The durian eating session by the road side was actually purposely done in "vengeance" of our good friends, Mohd Noh & Fahmy who had a durian eating feast earlier and posted their session in the FB... Hey guys, we had our revenge!!! As for our Adik, Sally sorry - "kita orang makan durian dulu yea!"
The best moment of the trip was seeing Aishah with three "Orang Asal" kids along the route leading to Kuantan ... Those kids were so shy, full of curiosity but polite... I just wonder what would those 3 kids be say, in 15 years from now. What I am sure is their curiosity & politeness would suffice to ensure a good life ahead, insyaALLAH.
Reaching Kuantan at 6.00 PM really took toll on myself as the odometer stopped at 3409 km. I was badly in need of a good rest before our next trip from Kuantan to Terengganu the next day ...
